This was acquired by my agent from a Tantric Practioner who had it in his possession for over 50 years.  I would estimate that it was originally carved in the 1940s.

Phurpa / Phurba is a tantric ritual dagger used in most Buddhist ceremonies to conquer evil spirits and destroy obstacles.

Good quality.  Old bone phurbas are quite rare.

For the Serious Collector.  A bone stand is included.
