The cross, figure and INRI sign are all hand carved.  INRI (Latin:  Iesus Nazarenua, Rex Iudaeorum or Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews) is also hand carved and attached to the top of the crucifix.

 

Notice the wooden pegs instead of metal nails.  Circa 1950s.
