Vintage “Red Amber” Reclining Buddha Statue. China

At first blush, I would think this is cast phenolic resin, rather than real amber. I am sure – however – it is not a plastic composite. The value is for the design – a “reclining Buddha”. And, at this price, it is good value.
It is well cast and/or well crafted . . . as most reclining Buddha’s are. The statue has some toes missing but other than that, the statue is in good condition.
This would make a great gift suitable for a bookshelf or wall display shelf. Stand not included.
