This is a stately brass and cloisonné container / vase. It is openware: four brass open ports with dragons covering the ports. Made in the Hebei Province, outside of Chengde, in the mid-1900s.
The cloisonné is well done. The paint is on the dull side, probably due to age. All in all, a gorgeous piece.
Stand not included.
For the Serious Collector.
