Vessel / Jug with Molded Handle. Clay. Libya.

A Greco-Roman influenced small vessel / jug, perhaps used for oil or perfumes.  Very good condition.  Handle molded from top rim and small foot.   

Acquired and uncovered from 1963 through 1969 throughout Northern Africa, Libya specifically near Benghazi. 

Personally examined by a U.S. state museum director.  He has assured me that this item is indeed original and not a reproduction or facsimile.
