If you are a collector or user, then you will know that this pipe is lightly used.

This hand carved Meerschaum pipe is from Turkey.  Meerschaum is a clay mineral  that belongs to the Sepiolite group.  This has been a highly desirable material for smoking pipes because of its unique properties of absorption, chemical composition, white color and porosity.

Meerschaum turns a golden brown after years of smoking.  In this case, the FEW people who smoked this pipe did it with gloves on….. that’s a hint that you collectors would appreciate.

SORRY FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHY:  The pipe is actually a bright WHITE and does not have a slight yellow cast to it.

Comes with a lined case that is in good condition except for one latch.  The pipe is in good condition also with some loosening in the stem / mouthpiece.

This is a Serious Prize for the Serious Collector.  Stand not included.
