Tibetan Tamang, Shaman Drum, Tibet

Click the photo above for a larger version and more pictures

Details: Used by Himalayan Tribal Shamans to induce trances and call local Deities into one’s body. The handle has many similarities of a phurba – another ritualistic piece – with its multi-faced top and the shape down to the point. Comes with a beat stick, itself unique. This is an authentic piece, very rare and with a rich history.
