Detail: It’s all in the clay. Originating in China around 1200 AD, this clay came from the Fujian Province. This clay was known for its hardness and course grain. Glazing of this clay became quite an art. The process is carried on in this piece, from a factory in Malaysia. Acquired in Spain from a dealer.
