Detail: From the Orang Asli tribe most likely in the Taman Negara, one of the oldest rainforests in the world. Hand carved from old bamboo. Dome top with carved stem. Darts are recent. Detail: Seven feet in length, this spear comes from a Maasai tribe in Kenya. Hand created by a young Maasai warrior for his rights-of-passage into adulthood. Acquired from a tribesman back in the early 1970’s by our Capetown agent, it was shipped to me in the late 1990’s.   This item was SOLD. Thank you, T.D.
