Detail: This reminds me of the Vairocana Buddha that is at the Temple Borobodur in Java. . . . a temple that was built in the 8-9th Centuries.  Exceptional detail and serene expression.  Mounted on a rather primitive wooden base.  Mid- to late-1900’s.  Pristine condition.
