Detail: Five-headed, multi-armed Ganesh originally acquired from an Indian woman who was living in Thailand until the mid-1980. It appears to have a number of coats of colored lacquer applied. I acquired it from an art collector in San Francisco in 2000. In very good condition. Circa early- to mid-1900s. Stand not included.

Detail: Ganesh and Krishna often share the same poses and symbols. Kalinga – the snake – is most often associated with Lord Krishna. Cast in bronze with lost wax method. Circa early- to mid-1900s. Acquired from a gallery in Columbus Ohio in 1999. In very good condition.

Detail: Ganesh, the elephant-headed god of wisdom and success is the defender and remover of obstacles. He is one of the sons of Shiva. This statue is hollow cast. Acquired from an estate sale in Dallas Texas in 1999. It was cast in the mid-1900’s. In very good condition. This item has been sold.
