Rene Gallardo is a Cuban American artist who uses mixed media to explore portraiture. I do not know the exact description of this piece but it is comprised of a carved wooden piece with a head that resembles a human. It is adorned with twine, feathers in a bottle and a safety pin. The piece is mounted on a metal base.
I found this piece in Indonesia and was told that this fetish had powerful energy.
