From the Maiku Collection of the 1970s – 1990s. A fine molded sculpture with a great deal of detail.
The artist found his inspiration in the gnarled crags of a weathered log . . . with twisted roots and curled bark. He sculpted this elephant and then an exact mold was made out of alabastrite (stone and resin). This piece was then hand painted.
On a wood base. In very good condition with no damage.
This item as sold. Thanks V.N. !
