Crafted by the Borama Oromo tribe in southern Ethiopia.
For an engagement or just protection from the evil eye, this is a true collector’s piece and honors traditional Ethiopian heritage. Each telsum box or triangle is forced individually by hand, making this one unique and one-of-a-kind.
Each shape is believed to protect the wearer from a different form of evil. Triangular ones, for example, protect against the “evil eye”. Crescent or half moon shapes protect against evil spells under the moon.
The white metal alloy is most likely a composite of tarnished silver and nickel.
Threaded with a royal cord, this is a masterpiece in authentic Ethiopian craftsmanship.
