Rare 14th Century Majapahit Clay Head, Java

Detail:  Unearthed at the Trawalan site in East Java, this head represents Hanuman.  The Majapahit civilization dominated the surrounding areas in East Java during the 12th to 14th Centuries.  The Majapahit was the last major Hindu empires of the Malay Archipelago.  Truly a piece of history and art.  For the Serious Collector.
