From Burma, circa mid- to late-1800’s.   Painted / stained wood with lacquer and gilding.  Carved from a single block of wood with adornment of thin metal.  Rare.  Incense hole on small statue’s hands.  On metal stands.

These are most likely from a temple as indicated by the knob at the bottom of each . . . .  usually inserted into a hole on a wall.

For the Serious Collector.

This RARE pair of statues has been purchased.  Thank you C.R.
