This news service photo was used to announce an A&E Special on Egyptian mummies

From my research, I believe this photo is of a mummy found at the Necropolis Duch about 125 miles west of the Nile Valley. Excavations since 1995 have defined the occupation of the necropolis from the 5^th Century B.C. to the beginning of the Roman Empire. There were both collective and individual graves along with tradition funerary goods…. Decorated beds, wooden statues (most with a stucco layer and paint), masks, glassware, and ceramics.

The B&W photo is in excellent condition for 20+ years of age. Unframed.
