Detail: This is a stunning kris from Lombok, an island in West Nasa Tenggara province Indonesia. Lombok is east of Bali. I believe the hilt is made of Ireng wood and the sheath / warangka is Pelet wood. Notice that the hilt carving is hollow. The blade and hilt are early 1900’s. The sheath is mid 1900’s. Ceramic stand sold separately. For the Serious Collector.
