Old Dayak Tribal Chief or Shaman Buffalo Teeth Necklace. Kalimantan / Borneo

From the Ngaju tribe in Central Borneo.  Buffalos are sacrificed and tribal elders (or Shaman) wear necklaces adorned with buffalo teeth.  Average length of teeth is 2″.

From the mid-1900s.  No displays included.
