I commissioned some of these bowls a number of years ago from Tasmanian  artisans. These bowls are what the carvers are known for . . .  stunning pieces of art.  This one is a rainforest Myrtle . . .  a predominant species in Tansmania’s cool temperature rainforests.  Its regenerative cycle is from 1 to 500 years.

Its timber is prized:  for furniture, wood turning, specialty flooring,  decor, and pieces of art . . .  like this one.

Signed.
