Miniature Jade Helmet Headgear Headpiece, China

Click the photo above for a larger version and more pictures

Antique carving in miniature helmet / mask form. This is most likely an archaic jade carving of an old Chinese warrior helmet. It has good definition plus the smiling Chepu (brother of Garuda) – type face over the face opening. This comes from an antique dealer outside Beijing who claims this piece is from the late Qing Dynasty (early 1900s). In excellent condition. Very unique.

This jade has SOLD.  Many thanks D.G. !
