I really liked this piece when I bought it from a Toronto art dealer in 2000. Unfortunately, he could not give me much information on the vessel. It has a lot of qualities found in Hu Dynasty urns . . . but I’m not really sure. The handles look Mideastern.
I would say it is early-1900’s. Stand not included. It is well cast in perfect condition. 7″ tall x 4″ at widest point.
