This is a stunning vintage jar / vase with heavenly blue foliage and bird (perhaps) quail in the underglaze. A rather uncommon process. Potiche style similar to the Chinese Chia-ching period. Small crowned lid fits comfortably on top. Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. I acquired this jar in 2001 from a Toronto Canada dealer in unusual and rare ceramics. Circa 1960 – 1970s.
