An authentic wooden mask with hair made of palm fiber. Acquired from a Matses village along the Rio Galvez. There are only about 3,000 Matses left and their survival is directly related to the rainforest. The Matses use bows and arrows to hunt animals. In their animist view, there is no distinction between the physical and spiritual worlds. Stand not included.
