A gorgeous see-through cutout porcelain vase with intricate carved designs and hand painted in enamel with floral decorations. I love these overglazed rose colors of pink and carmine.
The mark is that of Qianlong Nian Zhi – Qianlong Period Make. Qianlong is the name of the reigning period (1736-1795) of the Chinese Emperor of the time. This is a 20th century vase. The stamp is very common on porcelain decorated in Hong Kong during the 1960s through the 1980s. I believe it was hand painted there but the kilns were in another location.
The detail is stunning, the craftsmanship is superb and the price is excellent! Stand not included.
