God of Wealth Buddha, Jambhala / Kubera Statue, Tibet /Nepal

Tibetan name is Nam Thos Re.  A very distinctive Buddha – right hand holding a conch shell and left – what should be a mongoose (that vomits jewels), there is, instead what looks like a bird.  He is dressed in flowing garments and a snake (Naga) around his neck.  I don’t see the representation of the dragons that usually are present around his throne.  His seating position is the Rajalila Asana.  Carved from boxwood  and polished. Circa mid-1900’s.   In perfect condition.  For the Serious Collector.
