Dokra Peacock Jewelry / Coin Box Container, West Bengal India

Detail:  This Dokra or Dhokra piece is from the metal smiths of West Bengal who are experts in the use of the “lost wax process” or non-ferrous metal casting.  I believe pewter plating was used.  Circa mid- to late-1900’s.  It is in very good condition and would make a unique jewelry or ring container.
