From the Dehua kilns (Fujian Province) in China, the jewel of porcelain production.  These statues represent the legendary Taoist Immortals:  7 males, 1 female who originated in the Han Dynasty in about 200 BC.  Zhong Liquan (with the fan); Zhang Guolao (musical instrument); Lan Caihe (flower basket); Lu Dongbin (sword); He Xiangu (lotus); Han Xiangzi (flute); Cao Guojiu (tablets); and Li Tieguai (crutch) form the group.  I would guess that they are circa mid- to late-1900’s.  They were acquired from an estate sale outside Beijing a few years ago.  No cracks or chips.  Perfect condition.
