Click the photo above for a larger version and more pictures

Chhepu (Chepu) is the brother of Garuda and is known for his bravery.  He has been given a place at the top of many shrines as the “protector” from all dangers.  Nagas (snake like dragons) are his food… yuk.  This is carved from a single piece of hardwood.   Circa mid-1900’s.  Very good condition.  There is a tiny chip missing on its crown.  Sorry, this item has been sold.  CONTACT US for other items that have similar characteristics.
