Bi Disks were produced as far back as the Neolithic period, 3400 – 2200 BC. They are owned as a status or rank symbol. They have been thought to represent the sun and the circle meaning eternal life (without beginning, without end). Of course, there are other meanings that have evolved but generally Bi Disks are thought to be worn by people of moral quality. This disk is relatively new and carved from a soft jade. Stand is not included.
