I don’t have a lot of detail on this piece but I really like the flowers and tassles.  It is probably from the mid-1900’s.  These types of statues were usually handcarved by village artisans and placed within worship altars in private homes.  This one was well cared for and the smell of the camphor wood lingers.  It is accented with gold paint and red lacquer.
