Bronze Seal / Stamp / Chop with a Bronze Buddha Head, China

Click the photo above for a larger version and more pictures

A stunning seal in cast bronze.  The characters around the plinth make this a seldom seen Chinese seal.  This might be a late 1800s to early 1900s piece.  Some oxidation patina is evident.  But generally, it is in great condition and ready to be displayed.  Acquired from a “high quality” art estate sale in Texas in 1999.   Appraised by the Columbus Cataloging group at $400 to $600.  They supply appraisals to major auction houses.  Stand is not included.
