Kirtimukha – personifying ferocity – is symbolic of our thoughtless pursuit of worldly possessions and pleasures.  This is a man-cave mask.   Notice the “asps” curled around the base of the horn…. and the protruding tongue.   Circa late 1900s.   There is another similar mask on the site.  Search Kirtimukha Beast.  It is item M-9172.    Stand not included.
