Detail:  This is one of my favorite temple bronze statues.  Not quite the 1000 arms  (although there are many hundreds cast in the background) but this Buddha does have the 7 heads.  The double Dorje or Wisha Vajra is stamped on its metal base and represents consecration at specific religious ceremony.  Purchased from an art dealer in 2002.  Circa late-1800s or early-1900s.  For the Serious Collector.

I am sorry but this gorgeous piece has sold.
