Hanuman – a very popular Hindu deity – is believed to be an avatar of Lord Shiva.  Representing a symbol of physical strength, perseverance  and devotion.

 

Great detail.  Acquired in 1990 from a “hanuman” collector in Miami Florida.  Stand not included.
