Handmade and crafted by a Tharu Shaman. The Tharu people – who reside in the southern foothills of the Himalayas in the Terai Region of Nepal – are well known for their religious festivals, rituals and exorcisms.
This necklace was crafted with silver and brass with old Indian coins as accent pieces. The cord, as you can see, is quite worn from use but is still in good condition.
