Antique Chinese Warrior Spear Head – Military Weapon, North China

Click the photo above for a larger version and more pictures

Detail:  This spear head comes from northern China near the Manchurian border and was used as a military weapon.  The shaft is long-gone but the housing for the shaft sits on the lower part of a brass piece connecting it to the esotericstuff.com spear.  Rust and corrosion show some degradation.  Edges and grooves indicate natural weathering.  Add a weathered wooden pole to the end and you will have a great weapon art piece.   I acquired this from my Australian Agent in 2002.  Circa late 1800’s to early 1900’s.
