From my personal collection, this lamp sits in the entry to our home. I have a thing for lamps and this particular one is my all-time favorite.
Acquired from a Palm Springs estate sale a few years back. The bronze urn was converted to a lamp in the early 1930s . . . a standard practice for vases and urns from that era. The urn sits on a traditional Chinese carved wooden stand . . . forming the base. The urn might be from the late 1800s.
Included is a silk shade that has a gold and sea foam (light tint of green) coloring. Quite unique but really complements the lamp.
New wiring, plug and socket. There are two barely-noticeable dimple dents, but hey, if I were over 115 years old, I would probably have a few dents too!
Stately and elegant.
For the Serious Collector.
