Excellent museum quality 1800s bronze antique Suppanahong bird. A mythical bird – known the “Hong golden swan” – is related to the Thai royalty. A Hong sits as the bow extension of the Royal Barge in Bangkok.
Acquired from a reputable antique dealer in Alaska in 2000.
