Detail:  A Maravijaya Buddha in the Sukhothai style from the Siam period of the 14th and 15th Centuries.  It looks to have been part of a larger temple statue that was desecrated.  Looks like a walnut base. Circa mid- to late- 1800’s or perhaps earlier. Acquired from an art dealer in Thailand.   Head in very good condition.
