This is an oil lamp with the design of a pagoda-type temple.  That structure reminds me of one of the towers of Angkor Wat.  At the four corners of the top level of the “temple” are guardians.  Could be lions, dogs, tigers or mythological beasts.

Ganesha / Ganesh elephants are on the back side of the oil cups. The hanging chain is thick and heavy . .  and has a unique chain link design.

This is a phenomenal piece of temple art.  I would guess that this piece is from the late 1800 to early 1900s. . . . perhaps a lot older.

I am tempted to purchase oil and light it but I will save that for its next fortunate owner.

For the Serious Collector.

Sorry, but this oil lamp has sold.  Thanks, J.D.B !!!
