Antique Badik / Badek Dagger / Knife. Ivory handle. North Sumatra. Indonesia.

The scabbard is ivory as well as part of the hilt.  The blade is adorned with Beras Wutah.  The pamor is the most important part of the knife as it possesses strong power and influence.

This is a weapon of defense as well as being used to slaughter animals and cut meat.

The Badik is carried in the waistband.  Ivory makes this a very special Badik.

In very good condition.  Circa 1920s – 1940s
