Rare Condition Kain Kebat Iban Skirt.  Ritual Textiles.  Sarawak Malaysia /  Borneo

Kain kebat skirts are cotton and worn by women  in local ceremonies  as well as when groups of foreigners visit and hosted in the clan house. Worn to highlight feminine grace.

In very good condition.

This is an excellent example of the quality and tradition that is part of the making of Iban ritual textiles.  Hanger is not included and because of the length of the garment, some of length is folded back.  The full length is 67″.  Hanger is available on this website.
