Antique Bronze Dagger.  Weapon. Knife.  Keris.  Jakarta.  Indonesia. Java

 

Our Agent found this in a unique antique shop in Jakarta along with a multitude of old and rare Indonesian weapons and bronze statues.  The proprietor says it was from the early- to mid- 1800s.  He also thought it might have been made from descendents of the Medang Kingdom of Central Java.

I have no way of verifying that but it certainly is old and a rare conversation piece.

Notice the asp/snake in the lower area and characters on the sheath.
